Links

Well, still trying to figure out how to put my own links on the side of the page. One of my favorites to go to is zug a practical joke site. They have some good pranks on there, but the people on the 'chat' part are very rude and a lot are not so funny. They don't like new people, and seem to get off on insulting them no matter how funny they are. Every once in a while, I feel like trying to win $2000 to $4000 at Three Eyed Bingo(free to play, hard to win). No, I haven't won any money yet, but I do know you can. If you are into satire, Then 'The Best Page in the Universe' is the place to go. Very funny, but you have to be able to recognize sarcasm when you see it. I have pictures of my 2 kids here. We went to a Chiefs game this year, front row behind one of the goal posts. Pictures are here. The link to the 9.99 books is here, just click. I am supposed to get my new book next week. I am really hard up for a new book. I know what happens in all of mine, when I so much as read the title. I NEED that book.
I frequent the WebMd message boards. Well, atleast the ones for 2 year olds, preschool to school age childrenandbed rest buddies for advice on my sister's bed rest stuff. It amazes me how the people on the kid message boards ask for medical advice for their kids. It seems they don't know that only a pediatrician knows what specifice treatments, vitamins, etc. will be appropriate for their child's age, weight, medical history, etc. This is for people who ask friends for advice on their child's health. ASK YOUR DOCTOR!!! You CAN call the doctors office and leave a message for the dr/nurse. The WILL call you back. When in doubt, call anyway. Your hospital should also have resources for you. One of my pet peeves as you can see. All I can give is an opinion, as i am not a medical professional. Those are the people who go to college atleast 8 years, plus must complete a 2 year 'internship' before they can practice on their own. Also, anyone specializing, such as a pediatrician, goes to even more school, and frequently attends health conferences for up to date/new treatments/diseases etc. for their special area of expertise. That said, I think webmd is an excellent place to go and check symptoms to get possible conclusions. They frequently advise to visit the doctor, for most semi-serious to very serious symptoms.
Ah, well, enough bitching.
