Quote of the day:They say that love conquers all. Maybe,
but *I* haven't lost faith in armored
divisions with awesome firepower coupled
with total air and naval superiority.

Full Metal Alchemist
So yesterday was cartoon day. Reruns, so I didn't watch much. Still into the books. As you know, I got a mystery game. Full Metal Alchemist for the PS2. I played and played. It's not like the normal RPGs that I play. I prefer Final Fantasy types. I make choices but don't have to push a crap load of buttons like Mortal Kombat. Well at least Full Metal is just square square square and x for jump. It is nice that I just pause to refill health though. I played until 10:30. There was no way I was going to miss Full Metal the cartoon. Getting closer to the mystery of Scar and the Philosopher's Stone. It was awesome. After that and Ghost In the Shell, which I still don't understand, I went back to the game and got myself killed. If I hadn't it would have been an all-nighter for me. I usually do that with every new game. I didn't print the 'book' on it yet, but I do still have a tab with the walkthrough I found. Got turned around only once. Amazingly, it seems a fairly short game. I am halfway through with only 7 hours play. Like my FFX2 you can replay after beating it with all your stuff intact. I will pick it back up shortly when the kids nap.
He brought home another PS2 for the bedroom. It is the teeniest thing you ever did see. It's a quarter of the size of the original. We were surprised and wondered if it would work. I know, it's going to work cuz it says so on the box but I had my doubts.
That's all for now, enjoy the rest of the weekend. |
