Babies and Birthdays

Since it's after midnight; it is my birthday today. Just realized if my oldest sister chooses to be induced today, she will have her second son born on my 31st birthday.
So Weird!
I didn't even realize that when I talked to her last week.

Apparently Jadyn is out of the NICU and littlest sister is home now.

He was born Apr 12; 4lbs some odd oz. Still a little fuzzy on details as apparently her husband was still a bit dazed when he called with info. He was early and they did the steroid shot for his lungs. Personally, I think he just got our small genes out of the mix.

I'll be expecting a phone call later today about the new one. She seemed pretty eager to get her labor induced, even at 38 weeks. Of course her first son wasn't exactly small. Their father is a large man. Ducks for ceiling fans and all that. I think it was Tuesday when she said she was dilated to 2 and having minor contractions. Just her cervix wasn't in the right place yet. I don't really understand it. Wouldn't surprise me if this one was born 8+lbs. even 2 weeks short of 40.
