Beads, Games and Cartoons

Sorry about the quality of the last pics. Next time I'll scan. I made another necklace, got some more beads and will be making a necklace to match my final anklet. I finally got the pattern, color and size I wanted.

I found the little dragonfly charms at Wal-Mart. I always think turqouise when I see them, so I loved the swirl beads I found. Had to get more before I could make the necklace to match. I did make one, but I didn't like it after it got put together.

I really like those black and white striped seed beads, but they don't look very good with the turqoise. I ran out of the smaller round turqouise beads that were on the anklet, so I had to use the black ones. I'll be taking this apart to make the new one. It's been a good lesson in how to make necklaces that 'match'.

I made these 2 little bracelets/anklets for the boys today. Hubby got me some more beads yesterday. I wanted lots of turqouise colors. One set was half red stuff. I don't like red, per se, so I asked the boys if they liked them. I pieced each one together, asked if they liked the way it was, then strung it. At first they were wearing as bracelets, now they want them to be anklets. It's a very good thing that their ankles are the same size as their wrists. Steven's is 5" and Mikel's is 6". They are very proud of them today. LMAO!
On the the games part. Really only one game. Digimon World 4. It's still fairly new, so I only found one walkthrough for it. It wasn't even complete. There are 4 stages and only 2 of them were in it. That's ok, you have to retest things to make sure they are accurate. I may just make one of my own. I beat it last night. The last boss fight wasn't just one boss, it was 3. Each one was a bitch to kill. I probably will make my own. I'll use Open Office for it I think. The best thing about that open source program, is you can make a document and export it as a pdf. On the things I have done, they look better once exported and opened as a pdf. You can get it at the Open Office website. It's free and better than Word, works and junk. Much easier to work than the microsoft office suite that I have. Yeah, I think I will do it. I needed a lot more info than I got, so I'll just mess with it myself.
On to the cartoons. I haven't talked about them lately. Full Metal Alchemist is now re-running Mon-Wed on cartoon network, as is Ghost in the Shell. Don't forget, it's adult swim so they are on around 11:30 central time. Saturday holds new adult swim cartoons. It's great, they no longer show the crap cartoons before the good ones. Inuyasha is on at 10, Samurai Champloo is 10:30, Paranoid Agent (I think that's the name), and reruns of Trigun. You get the idea on times. Samurai Champloo is awesome. If you like kung-fu type movies this is a great cartoon for you. Suffice it to say that they can do in cartoons that you cannot achieve in movies. Some of the dialogue is dorky, but the artwork is awesome. Paranoid agent I haven't figured out yet. The intro shows the entire cast, each alone, laughing. Not the sound of laughter, you can just see it. I think the thing is that someone gets under too much pressure, starts to have a mental breakdown and they get attacked by a kid with a gold hockey stick. Yeah, weird. This morning abcfamily was showing a W.I.T.C.H. marathon. I like this cartoon, it has magic. Not much else on though. I can't wait until 10pm. Gotta have my Inuyasha. I'm always disappointed if I miss an episode. The rest I don't mind. Demons, good and bad, a priestess, and lots of magic. Reincarnated priestess who travels back 500 years or so through a well and doesn't really know how to be a priestess. You can imagine how amusing this can be.
Well, off for now. Games to get to, things to make.
