Leapfrog Letter Factory

As I sit here the boys are watching the video. Steven, age 2, is actually watching it and making the sounds. Not well, the point is he's trying to. It's soooo cute! Letter Factory goes throught the alphabet in order a to z. They make the letter sounds. Because of this video, Mikel knew his alphabet and the accompanying letter sounds at age 3 1/2. When he recites it, he skips the m. He recognizes and identifies both name and sound for the whole alphabet. It's so cute, we had him impressing all his uncles. Word factory isn't as interesting right now, so we don't watch it as often. I'm trying to get him to recite the alphabet properly. Ah, well, maybe head start will do that for him. Steven was 'dancing' and singing to it. They've sort of lost interest now. Got to letter L. Mikel tries to sing the song, but it sounds really funny when he tries.
The a says aaahhh, the a says aaahhh, every letter makes a sound the a says, (pause) aaahhh. And so on with each letter. He's getting better, just rushes through it cuz he notices he's slower than the singer.
