It was mostly a good game. Up until the fourth quarter. Eagles had many chances. McNabb was wasting the time he had left on the clock. Mosey on up to the line of scrimmage. Call huddle with not enough time to waste. Need 10 points. That's all. 5 minutes left in the game. Plenty of time. IF you don't walk to the line of scrimmage, throw the ball up the middle of the field, still use huddles then walk to the line. No one to blame but himself and, presumably, the coaches. Shouldn't someone have told his ass he needed to run. First time I've ever seen McNabb play like he was a scared rookie. Last five minutes it looked like he had given up. Boy!, if you only have 5 minutes to get 10 points, run to the line, screw the huddle, throw to the sidelines. STOP THAT DAMN CLOCK! They were just outplayed. I thought they had a chance. They had a few. They just forgot how to take advantage of them. I'm disappointed. I may not be an Eagles fan, but I've always been a McNabb fan. I know it doesn't make sense, but I'm not a guy, it doesn't have to.
The commercials weren't great either. There were a few that showed more than once. I guess companies are tired of paying outrageous money for a 30 second ad. There was a good car one. Guy was in a convertible, frozen. There was a fogged up car. Cops walk up and guy rolls windows down. Cop looks in, 2 guys are in the car, with fogged up window. Eating toasted subs, I thought it was great. The pepsi one was amusing also. Some cute guy walking down street with diet pepsi. ALL the women, most of them 'hot', stopped and stared. The best part, for me, was when they showed one of the guys from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy stop and stare too. There was a budweiser one. 2 guys parachuting from a plane. One guy is too scared. Second guy throws bud out open door so the first guy will jump. Instead, the pilot jumps. I didn't actually see it, husband did and told me. I can't believe they did the same 'can you hear me now' commercial. The one with the monkey talking into the banana and nodding his head. There was a job one too. One guy comes into boardroom where everyone else is a monkey. First one they showed, the monkeys put a whoopee cushion in his seat. Always good for a laugh with little ones and men. Second one guy's proposal is shot down. Shows 'chairman' monkey standing up and monkey next to him kisses his ass. I think I liked that one best. I hope they show it on other channels. I don't normally watch fox anymore.
